I offer: I am in this world but I am not of this world. Sometimes I act like I belong here, but in reality, I know that I don't. I am not smarter or nicer or prettier or richer or better educated or more powerful than anyone else. There is no good reason why the King of the Universe decided to call me "daughter" and put HIS mark upon me - except LOVE. I was not a great daughter. I married an abusive alcoholic and stayed that way for 7 years. Then I left with a precious daughter but no material things. Two years later, and a lot of drinking and partying and neglecting my child too much, I met a man who was a "son" of the King. We got married and 7 years later, the King adopted me. My life has been so different and so good - when I listen to what my FATHER says to me in love and when I listen when HE says "no." He is teaching me that this world and this culture is brainwashing me if I don't listen. HE is teaching me what is real and genuine as opposed to what is unreal. He is LOVE.
