Biography. Slav Nedev was born in Sofia in 1967. He lives and works in Sofia and since 1989 is a freelance artist. Slav Nedev is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. 2012 together with a group of adherents he founded the Biotope Association that was aimed mostly at the realization of the homonymous project for a large installation in public space.

Born in 1967 in Sofia, where he currently lives and works. He was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. He did a residency at the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus Schwandorf, Bavaria, Germany, and at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. Since 2012 he has been the President of the Biotope Association. He has been working as a consultant with the Gaudenz B. Ruf Award for New Bulgarian Art since 2010; he has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 2001.
