Yoga Master’s Trainer SUNIL DAHIYA was born in northern India in a family of yogis and began studying yoga under the guidance of his father from the tender age of 4. He began to visit Himalayas to practice yoga in Himalayan caves at the age of seven.
After which he embarked in a search for his “special” GURU (traditional master) led him to visit more than 100 Ashrams (traditional schools of yoga).
Meeting the teacher he was looking for by the time he was 15, he was fortunate to learn yoga’s deeper secrets from and then to work side by side with Shri Balmukund Singh Ji over a period of 11 years.
During this period of time he also visited almost all parts of India for receiving & sharing specialized skills of advance yoga practices with top yoga masters of India from variety of specializations in yoga.
He went on to receive dozens of gold-medals in recognition for his skills, knowledge and abilities of yoga and related subjects such as, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Prescription, Sports Medicine, Bio-chemistry, Pathology, Ayurveda and Naturopathy from international and national levels events.
The Indian Yoga Federation & Patanjali Yoga Peeth jointly awarded him the title ‘Indian King of Yoga’ (Bharat Yoga Samrat) in 2001, University of Delhi awarded him ‘University Colour’ in 2001 and the Government of Pondicherry, India awarded him the title ‘Champion of Champions’ in 2006.
To clarify scientific aspect of yoga he got engaged in research projects in clinical category such as “Psychological disturbances among the blind students” and “Techno Stress in computer users” and kept attending international and national workshops in the area of yoga, health, psychology, drugs abuses, sports injury management etc.
In 2006 at Malaysia he realized for complete utilization of his caliber he need to train yoga teachers and intellectual people.
With professional aim of “Making the world happier, healthier & united through cultural exchange and yoga” in 2007 he started to conduct his yoga Workshops for yoga masters, doctors and other health professionals at Singapore. Same year he also represented Indian ‘Health Ministry’ as yoga therapist at ‘World Health Assembly’ in Switzerland.
Nowadays he teaches various yoga programs worldwide, such as YOGA WORKSHOPS, YOGA SEMINARS, YOGA TEACHERS TRAINING COURSES, YOGA RETREATS, YOGA CAMPS, YOGA TRAINING PROGRAMES, CRASH COURSE IN YOGA and YOGA TOUR PROGRAMS.
In short! His 11 years of traditional learning with his Guru Ji, diploma in yoga and high quality university qualifications, 25 years of personal practice and more than 15 years of professional teaching are summarized in, developed by him unique style ABS YOGA with its 4 methods.
