1.Wash the golf cart thoroughly to remove dirt and debris. Use a soapy solution and a cloth (and scrub brush, if necessary) to clean the entire cart--including the wheels and undercarriage. Add distilled water as necessary to fill the battery cells to the manufacturer's recommended levels. Low water level may prevent batteries from fully charging. 4.Inspect the gas pedal and linkage to determine if there is anything blocking or preventing the pedal from being fully depressed. Use an adjustable wrench to adjust the pedal, if possible, and tighten any loose connections. 5.Check the tire pressure using a tire gauge. Make sure that the tires are properly inflated to manufacturers specifications. Use a tire pump to add air as needed. Low tire pressure can lower the speed of electric golf carts. 6.Charge the golf cart using the charging unit supplied with the cart. Make sure to allow the batteries to fully charge. Turn off all devices such as lights and radios which may drain the batteries during the charging process.
