Present Status : Opted for 'VRS' from IPCL in June 2003 as Manager ( Safety ) - This post was re-christened as 'GM' and later on as Vice-President by 'Reliance' which had taken over IPCL in 2002 but take-over was completed after 2003. Experience: 1. 1967 to 1976 : As Sr. Operator in'Synthetics & Chemicals' at Bareilly (u.p) * Commissioned 2 small plants of NBR & 'Hot-Latex'. 2. 1976 to June 2003 : IPCL, Baroda complex upto Dec.2002 and Gandhar Complex w.e.f. January to June, 2003. * Started as "Asst. Chem.Engr". and was finally Promoted as Mgr. (Safety ) in 1996. *Was Sr. Team Member of Pre-commissioning & commissioning team For Five Huge scale plants (Including a Plant of ONGC at Uran, Mumbai.). ** Joined Safety deptt. at the end 0f 1989 and had been responsible for: (a) Re-structuring and running Training Programs for all levels of Employees including Managerial level and Top level Executives. (b) Had been looking after entire statutory requirements of IPCL (Under SMPV Rules) since 1996 till retirement. (c) Conducted «HAZOP'' studies for upcoming and existing plants and units, was also working as 'Plant Audit's Team member'. (d) Had been representative member of 'BIS' from IPCL side. (e) Had been "Sr.team member" for several 'MOCK DRILLS' conducted by IPCL from time to time. (f) Developed and improved many PPEs which includes 'HF' resistant suits for use in IPCL, had also been responsible for procurement/up-keep and repairing of Safety Instruments. (g) Besides all above, had been taking care of many other assignments and tasks given by management.
