Gallery in Yasni Exposé of Pallade Marius

Laika Gallery, a space dedicated to the artistic experiment of the 21st century, coordinated by the young artists Marius Bercea, Mircea Suciu and Vlad Olariu, presents these days the exhibition called „How it’s Made” and signed by Mihuţ Boşcu. The exhibition’s subject is Laika, the dog, the first being to travel into space, but also the one giving its name to the gallery that is opened to the experiment in the contemporary art.

Planned for Haus der Kunst München (February 12- May 2, 2010) the retrospective of the American artist is created by the curator Ralph Rugoff, the director of Hayward Gallery from London (October 2009- January 2010). In his opinion, “Ed Ruscha enjoys international acknowledgement for the visual elegance and the acuity of his paintings, the exhibition under discussion is meant to disclose the experimental approach, as well as the painter’s contribution to the contemporary cultural landscape.
