MarkusVrieling is senior partner and CEO at RESBroker International N.V. He is expert in renewable energy projects and a frequent speaker on at seminars and summits.He has over 25 years experience as information analyst and in business consulting and is specialized in Business Process Management and Information Analysis. Markus has a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and Family Therapy and took his IT degree (AMBI) at the Technische Universiteit in Eindhoven after which he became Lector at the Hogeschool Eindhoven in applied information technologies in Social Welfare. In the ’80 he founded Markus Software Distributors that became market leader in the BeNeLux in software development tools . After he sold his business in the Netherlands, he moved to Romania and continued in software development. In 2004 he started his business consulting firm Creative Intermedia. Markus and his team provided business process management and related consulting to a number of firms in Romania. Among them are Banca Tiriac (now Uni-Credit), ABN-AMRO; production companies such as IMGB (Doosan) as well as furniture and agricultural companies and the National Museum of Arts (MNAR). In 2009 he specialized in Renewable Energy Projects and founded RESbroker in 2010 of which he now is C.EO. RESbroker International is specialized broker in Renewable Energy Projects in Europe with a strong focus on CEE and Romania, Moldavia and Ukraine in particular. Markus is author of “Perspectives of Investing in Wind Energy in Romania” (2010) as well as “Workbook Renewable Energy” (ISBN 978-90-819211-0-7).
