  Leo Gov, Founder and President of LG Enterprises and LA Rehab Pool Party, embraced his ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) instead of fighting it. Today he is one of the hottest event producers in Los Angeles.From an early age Leo realized that he was born a party promoter. When other kids sat still in class, eyes glued to the blackboard, he would quickly lose attention and drift away to Hollywood, thinking about celebs, red carpets and glossy events. It was only a dream back then, but little did he know that one day would come and he would actually have these celebs as guests in his upscale parties.But life wasn’t always an easy ride for Leo. At the age of 15 he was diagnosed with severe ADHD. Now everything made sense: he was just too restless at home, too cool for school, and too jumpy for a steady 9 to 5 job. He tried to unleash this unbounded energy doing all kinds of sports, but even after he’d get home dog-tired from a long session at the gym, he’d be hyper and bouncy the morning after. He then understood that it wasn’t ephemeral energy outlets that he needed, but an energy-outlet lifestyle. By that time he only had a vague idea of what the nightlife of Hollywood looked like, but determined to explore it, he packed a suitcase, kissed his mother goodbye, and hopped on a plane to Los Angeles.Leo first arrived to the City of Angels in 1998 and was thrown into a sleep-deprived reality. The first years in LA were rough and he was scratching around working as a sub-promoter for small events at clubs like: Key Club, Century Club, Dublin, Gate, Miyagi’s, Sunset Room, Sky Bar, and many more. Always focused on the main goal, Leo never gave up his aspiration to become the head promoter of the events, and so he did.Little by little, club owners and top promoters started noticing his high-energy and outspoken personality. As ballsy as he was, he’d approach club owners and make them an offer: “give me the headcount for last week party, and I will double it for you. If I do, you give me half of the register and if I don’t, don’t pay me.” Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t, but Leo gained some street cred and respect. The word back then was that no matter the style of event you had, the music, the venue or the people, if you hired Leo promote it, he would get the highest turnover for you. It didn’t take long before Leo started promoting and producing events in almost every hotspot in Hollywood like: Music Box, Hot, Las Palmas, Ecco, Wonderland, Kress, Marbella, Ivar, Vanguard, Cabana, La Vida, Green Door, Empire, My Studio, Opera (Eden), My house, Playhouse, The Highlands, Pig & Whistle, Conga Room, and Rumba Room for the Latino crowd. He also produced live shows at Nokia Club/Nokia Theatre, Staple Center, Egyptian Theatre, and was the chair man of the 2010 Independence Day Festival that hit all-time-high attendance of over 50,000 people. Promoting for these clubs and mingling with key people in the industry, Leo learned the ins and outs of event planning and public relations in Los Angeles, and eventually became a full-fledged Event Producer-a blend of a promoter, event planner, and public relations expert. But it wasn’t the only thing he learned. It occurred to him that some clubs didn’t live up to their potential because things were done in the same old and dull way. That is when he decided to start his own company. In 2005, Leo founded LG Enterprises. The concept of LG Enterprises revolves around full service events, or the way Leo puts it: “A to Z LG Enterprises”. The company takes care and is on top of every single thing in the production. When Live Entertainment is in the menu, LG Enterprises will even book the flight, lodge, and limo for the performer and make sure all his/her needs are met.So far LG Enterprises produced red carpet events, celebrity events, NBA-Lakers, Clippers, and Dodgers parties, and across-the-board live Performers’ shows. Among the high-end events LG Enterprises produced, it’s worth noting events in participation of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mayor of Beverly Hills Jimmy Delshad, Mayor of Hollywood Toni Boldi, Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa, and many more. As for the Live Performers shows, LG Enterprises produced various events with many famous performers from the whole spectrum:-Hip Hop: Puff Daddy, Nelly, Usher, Treason, Miguel, Chris Brown, Jeremiah, The Game, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Nas and Damian Marley, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Too Short , Omarion, Ray J, Y G, E 40, 50 Cents and many more. -Latino Performers: Wisin Y Yandel, Tito El Bambino, Ivy Queen, Pilar Montenegro, Monchy y Alexandra, De La Ghetto, Mariachi, Extreme, and also many salsa performers. -House and Electronic Music: Tiësto, Sharam, Dead Mouse, Yahel, Infected Mushroom, Caroline Posada and many more. -Reggae Music: Sean Paul, Mr. Vegas, Bujo Banton, Gregory Isaac, Barrington Levy, Ziggy Marley, Elephant Man, Shaggy, Cocati, Sister Nancy, Yellow Man and many more. In 2008 Leo kicked off LA Rehab Pool Party-a line of summer pool parties that start at early July and end at late September. In these parties gates open at 11am and close at 8pm. Parties take place in several locations in Los Angeles, in mansions around Hollywood, and also in Palm Springs, San Diego, and Lake Havasu, Arizona. LA Rehab Pool Parties are known for attracting A-class clientele and celebrities like performers mentioned above.It’s worth noting that from the outset of his career as a sub-promoter through becoming a full fledged Event Producer and up to starting his own company, Leo Gov never forgot to give back to the community. Leo is an avid supporter of the Breast Cancer Community and has partnered with David Harrison Levi numerous times producing charitable events in support of the brave members of the community, as can be evidenced by the Certificate of Appreciation awarded to Leo Gov by David Harrison Levi.To date, LG Enterprises runs 5 events per week not including LA Rehab Pool Parties. But for Leo Gov it’s only the beginning or as he puts it: “Every day is a new day. Good times or bad times, LIFE IS GOOD and people need to have fun. We are only here to make sure they do, because in this business the only limit is the sky and I will reach it.”
