TAKE A RIDE. GIVE A TOY. BRING A SMILE. Chiang Mai ToyRide: helping children in need with charity motorcycle parade, party, food, live music, games and toy giveaway! Chiang Mai, Thailand – On a festive Sunday morning, 19th February 2012, hundreds of riders on motorcycles of all types and sizes, laden with toys, games and stuffed animals, will parade through Chiang Mai and then create a massive pile of toys to be given to boys, girls and babies in need. Following the ride to the X-Centre Xorb Ball field, the charity party kicks off with bands for kids, rock ‘n’ blues for adults, clowns, magicians, games and prizes for the kids, food from local vendors, awards for best decorated bikes and, the highlight of the event; the toy giveaway to the children! All motorcyclists are invited to join the event whether their bikes are large or small. And there’s no admission charge: just bring along a new toy to warm a needy child’s heart..........

The CMTR learned of an orphans home in Doi Saket called Mercy Home. The Thailand director of Asia’s Hope Foundation is TuTu Bee. Asia’s Hope sponsor a number of orphanages in Thailand and Cambodia, however the Mercy Home is without sponsorship. They subsist off individual donations and TuTu Bee assists in providing direction and trying to find sponsors........

Thanks to the generosity of the planners and participants of the Chiang Mai Toyride, all of our kids under the age of 12 -- more than 80 in all -- were treated to a fantastic day of games, toys and even country music! We appreciate all of the efforts that went into organizing this wonderful day of fun. .......

Everybody needs a buddy! Every year, the Chiang Mai ToyRide in Thailand, with special guests like Santa, brings stuffed animals and smiles to children in need in the acute care wards of Maharaj Hospital in Chiang Mai......

Chiang Mais biggest local daily newspaper in Thailands Northern Metropolian city, published a report about Chiang Mai´s first incredible Octoberfestival, sunday the 21st of September 2009. The charity festival, which will take place the 17th of October 2009 in Chiang Mai, is organized of Thailandfreunde e.V.. A social organization which was founded and is led by Dirk Weeber-Arayatumsopon. The press report is published in Thai language and giving the information to the public which were told at a press conference about the charity event.
