Imagine, Giving to those in the most need, expecting nothing in return. Mission Our first project: Help Health Philippines The first steps to help. 1. Support of the Communal Health Centers The Philippines have local health centers in each small town. The government strategically places them in areas with no hospitals nearby. They serve as a “mini-hospital” to those in need of medications for minor illnesses like cough and colds. They also provide a venue for the government to give regular vaccinations for children against measles, polio, hepatitis, etc. However, not enough funds are readily available to supply these health centers with emergency medical equipment and medication to arrest the worsening of critical illnesses like diarrhea and pneumonia in children. There is even a shortage of medical personnel able to attend to kids having the seasonal flu. Thus, a simple case of colds can turn fatal in a matter of hours simply because of the lack of proper medical care. Help-Health wants to assist these health centers secure a better set of medical equipment and an even wider array of medication. 2. Clothes, pens, paper, slippers, etc. Just like most non-profit organizations, we appreciate ANY amount of help we can get these little ones for home or school. Any form of assistance is greatly appreciated. The joy in their faces is “simply priceless”. Am 5. Februar 2012 hat Help Health Philippines der gerade 12 Jahre alt gewordenen Claris einen durch Ihre Spenden finanzierten Rollstuhl und eine Puppe übergeben. (http://www.betterplace.org/de/projects/8907- gebt-claris-eine-chance/news) Claris litt mit ca. 4 Jahren unter einer schweren Grippe mit erschreckenden Auswirkungen. Sie verlor höchst wahrscheinlich aufgrund einer Cerebralparese (oder einer ähnlichen Krankheit) die Fähigkeit zu laufen und zu sprechen. Damals sagten die Ärzte, dass ihre Mobilität verbessert werden kann. So weit war das natürlich eine gute Nachricht für die Eltern. Leider waren und sind die durch eine Untersuchung entstehenden Kosten für die Eltern viel zu hoch. Da sie gewöhnliche Bauern sind, liegt ihr monatliches Einkommen bei nicht viel mehr als 55 €. Das reicht gerade so für Essen und Trinken aus. Help Health Philippines hat daher entschieden, dass Claris nicht einfach in dem Rollstuhl sitzen gelassen werden darf. Wenn aus medizinischer Sicht Hilfe möglich ist, dann wollen wir Claris zur Hilfe verhelfen. Dazu brauchen wir Ihre Unterstützung. Was haben wir nun vor? Zuerst wollen wir Spenden für eine medizinische Untersuchung des Kindes sammeln. Diese wird ca. 1500€ kosten. Den genauen Preis können wir zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt unmöglich vorhersagen, da eventuell einige Scans (MRI, ca. 500€) erforderlich sein werden. Sobald die Untersuchungen möglich gemacht und abgeschlossen worden sind, werden wir mit Ihrer Hilfe ebenfalls die anstehende Behandlung finanzieren. Guten Tag, Danke das sie mein Profile besuchen. Jede Wertung ist fuer mich ein schritt weiter, um meine Idee bekannter zu machen. Wenn Sie nach den Links schauen sehen Sie das die Meisten in Richtung Helphealth-Philippines weissen. Nun das hat seinen Grund! Ich versuche schon zwei Jahre eine Organisation aufzubauen. Leider geht es nur mit sehr kleinen Schritten vorraus. Der Grund ist das es sehr schwierig ist um auf den Philippinen sich als Offizielle Organisation anzumelden. Man braucht 15 Leute und etwa 15.000 Euro um sich anzumelden. 15 Leute zu finden die man vertrauen kann ist schon ein Problem. Die meisten wollen nur ihre eigenen Beutel fuellen. 15.000 Euro kosted hier ein Haus also es ist ein Wahnsin um dieses Geld als Sicherheit auf einem Konto zu hinterlegen. Die chance ist gross das man das Geld nicht mehr zurueck sieht.
