I offer: I am a traditional stonemason, qualified and time served and am available for contracts, projects and commissions in Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire etc. I consider all UK and beyond. I am experienced in construction since 1984. My special interests and skills are in listed and historic buildings conservation and maintenance, traditional lime work including stone and brickwork repointing, plastering, rendering and cob, stone repairs and replacement (piecing in etc.) and masonry cleaning. I provide the design, production, supply & installation of architectural and ornamental stonework including mouldings, fireplaces, stone carving, lettering including monumental work, date stones and house signs etc. Specialist in the maintenance, restoration & rebuild of stone walling & New Build stonework from fine ashlar to mortared rubble, flint work to dry stone, flagstones & paving. I tutor in stone masonry, carving and lettercutting. Member of the Federation of Small Businesses.
