GAC internship program in China along with Chinese immersion program is a combination of Chinese studies and practical work experience gained in a domestic or international company. The program is an exciting opportunity for young professionals and students interested to gain work experience in China whilst developing their Chinese language skills. Based on the prior work experience, professional background, student preference and availability, Go Abroad China offers a variety of work placements to suit your needs. Why a GAC Internship in China? In terms of growth, China is the largest economical powerhouse in the world today and as such provides a unique opportunity for applicants to gain work experience and acquire crucial business skills. Considering the tremendous growth and sustainability of Chinese economy, a work placement in a domestic or multi-national company will help you obtain hands-on experience of Chinese work culture, business environment, thereby considerably adding value to your CV and enhancing your future prospects. While providing individuals the opportunity to gain work experience, an internship in China also enables them to learn Chinese language and culture. Interns also have the chance to experience Chinese culture in a close way by living with a local Chinese family. As an intern, you will not only encounter new professional opportunities and challenges, but social ones too. The time you spend in China enables you to develop new relationships both in personal and professional spheres of life by participating in numerous networking events in China. Students have the opportunity to work for at least 25 hours a week in local or international companies based in Beijing or Shanghai. Students have the option to request an internship placement by preference from any one of the following fields: Banking and Finance, Business Development, Education, IT, Marketing and Advertising, Non-Profit, Retail, and Travel and Tourism. Should you feel one of these fields is not the one for you. Please let us know and we will find you the right fit. Please take into account that appropriate placements are determined by your educational and professional background, availability and Chinese language ability. Consideration is also taken by making early registration. As the placements are on 1st come 1st serve basis. Student applications for internships are evaluated by a team of professionals and recommended to various companies in China. Companies may sometimes interview students recommended by GAC prior to a final placement. At the end of the internship students will receive a reference from the onsite coordinator. *Please note that the language training component is optional. If you think your Chinese language ability is good enough, or just want to have internship, you don’t have to attend Chinese Language Classes.

Go Abroad China - High School Program in China - Overview Go Abroad China offers various programs for high school students within the age group of 13 to 18 years. Our staff comprising of professional and experienced teachers, mentors and coordinators ensure you get the best from the intensive language training with a swift immersion into the Chinese language, culture and society. The staff also ensures all this is done in a safe and friendly environment. You will be living with a Chinese host family along with a family member of your age group in vibrant metropolises of Beijing and Shanghai. You also will attend well reputed local campuses. Excursions to historic and cultural landmarks, participation in community building projects also form part of the curriculum. Students are encouraged to interact in Chinese to improve their language comprehension and pronunciation. By the end of the program the students will have a good command over the Chinese Culture and a good skill in Basic Chinese language.

Go Abroad China - HSK Program - Overview Go Abroad China offers affordable, intensive and comprehensive HSK preparation courses. Our HSK prep courses are designed to teach you methods that will assist you in attaining your highest possible score on the HSK. Focusing on the content which includes listening, reading comprehension and paraphrasing, grammar, written expressions, as well as written sections. Go Abroad China HSK One on One tutoring program consists of studying 4 hours a day, split between morning and afternoon, 5 days a week. Go Abroad China One on One Tutoring Programs are designed specifically with the needs and goals of each student in mind. It offers participants the opportunity to learn Chinese, when, where and how they desire. This program is available for all ages. Our tutors are native Chinese university graduates with at least two years experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Most of them teach at renowned universities in China such as Beijing language and Culture University, Tsinghua University, Peking University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc. They will customize individual study plans based on student's Chinese levels and desired study fields. Private tutoring start times, weekly schedules, and study durations are completely flexible. Students can study general Chinese, business Chinese, HSK preparation or a variety of other Chinese language course topics and areas, like business, law, commerce, current affairs, reading, speaking, etc.
