Hello! I can of course enormously deceiving me but it seems to me that the name Gillessen possibly the origin of the name has Lessenig. Lessenig is my last name. Since I always the source of which was unclear and it seemed as if our family is the only one with this last name, I did a little research done in the WWW. And I came across the following entry: Ohio NAME Gillessen, Louisa DOB 08/24/1861 DOD 08/21/1902 FATHER Lessenig, John (Johann?) GREEN LAWN CEMETERY Columbus, German immigrants, I guess. Possibly Lessenig is Gillessen / also only coincidence, but the inversion of the letters just makes sense. The name is Lessenig, not only in the English language, not noticing as simple or pronounce. I know this from experience. I wonder if maybe somebody else already has met with them or if this is a / e 'Lessenig' reads like please email me please. The origin of the name is still not clarified Lessenig namely. Or perhaps time has made Gillessen Lessenig
