[Southland Times] - Nominations for the city council byelection closed at noon yesterday, with nine candidates nominated. They are Mr Thomas, Karen Arnold, Rebecca Amundsen, Hunter Andrews, Allan Arnold, Charlie Te Au, Steve Broad, Carl Heenan and Debbie Jamieson.
